GCSE & A Level Results 2023
Thursday 17th August – A Level Results Day
Thursday 24th August – GCSE Results Day
Results will be emailed to your School email address after 8.00 am
GCSE RGS Students
Your results will be delivered to you via the Student Portal shortly after 8am on Thursday 24th August. Results are published to students only. We will not be issuing results on paper, on-site.
It is vital that you are able to access your school email account and that you test it in advance of Results Day. We strongly recommend, therefore, that you test it now to check your logins are correct, and again a few days before Results Day just to make sure you have access. If you have forgotten your login details or have any other difficulties accessing your account, you should email firstname.lastname@example.org to resolve the issue.
If you have difficulty accessing the Student Portal, you may nominate a representative (e.g. parents or grandparents) to collect your results on your behalf. In order to do this, please fill in the Permission to Collect Form to confirm this. Due to the Data Protection Act, this request can only come from you and not from a third person (such as a parent). The request must be sent from your school email account. The nominated person must produce a form of ID on the day. Please note that we will not be giving out results over the phone.
Confirming Your A Level Choices and Information about Appeals
In addition to your grades, on Results Day you will also receive two important documents to your school email account.:
- The first document, outlines the post-results services offered by the exam boards, including access to scripts and reviews of marking.
- The second, which you will only receive on Results Day, will be a form confirming your final choice of Year 12 subjects. This may have been amended by the School in light of your GCSE results. Please follow the instructions on the form very carefully and return it by 2pm on Thursday 24th August.
We have many external applicants this year and they will be offered places from 2pm onwards on Thursday, so a prompt return is essential.
If you would like any advice or help, information about how to contact them will be included in the letter you receive on Results Day.
External RGS Students
For those new to the School: a reminder to present your GCSE statements of results to us at the earliest opportunity on Results Day. This can be done by visiting RGS from 9am-2pm, or by emailing a scanned version of your statements to email@example.com. We have had a large number of applicants for places in Year 12 this year so the sooner you do this, the sooner we will be able to confirm your place.
Please go to the Sixth Form Centre where you will be met by our Sixth Form Team.
