2027 entry for students new to RGS - Application Timeline

• Wednesday 21 October 2026 - Sixth Form Open Evening for current and prospective new students, 5pm - 8pm.  
• Thursday 22 October 2026 - applications open for students new to RGS.
• Friday 4 December 2026 - closing date for submitting applications.  All applications received after this date will be placed on the waiting list.
• March 2027 - Sixth Form Insights days for current and prospective new students
• June 2027 - 'Into the Sixth' induction event
• Thursday 19 August 2027 - GCSE results and sixth form offer day

2027 entry for current RGS students

• Wednesday 21 October 2026 - Sixth Form Open Evening for current and prospective new students, 5pm - 8pm.  
• Thursday 22 October 2026 - students will receive an email with information about making subject choices
• Wednesday 4 November 2026 - final date for submitting subject choices
• March 2027 - Sixth Form Insights days for current and prospective new students
• June 2027 - 'Into the Sixth' induction event
• Thursday 19 August 2027 - GCSE results and Sixth Form offer day.  On results day, you will receive an email to confirm your subject choices.  Please reply to this email by 1pm to confirm your sixth form place.  If you have any questions or would like to change your subjects, please email, telephone or come into school to talk with the team directly.
