A Level Results

Year on year RGS students achieve fantastic A level results from across 23 different subjects. RGS is committed to championing traditionally smaller A Levels and students are able to study Art, Ancient History, French, German, Spanish, Latin, Music and many more!

Recent additions to our curriculum include Psychology, Philosophy and Musical Technology.

GCSE Results

RGS GCSE results are consistently impressive with students having achieved 75% of all grades at 9 - 7 over the last 5 years. 

Mathematics results are especially strong with the 2025 GCSE cohort achieving 85% of all grades at 9 - 7, with an incredible 25% of all students achieving a Grade 9.

Although we are very proud of our headline results, the progress made by all RGS students is even more impressive. Progress 8 is a measure of how well a student achieves at GCSE based on their academic potential. Our most recent Progress 8 score is 1.13, showing that, on average, students at RGS achieve over one grade higher in every subject taken at GCSE than they would otherwise be expected to. This is a fantastic result and places us as one of the top schools in the country.
