Exceptional A Level Results for RGS in 2025 – A Landmark Year
We are delighted to announce a truly exceptional set of A Level results for 2025. This marks not only another year of significant academic achievement and student success, but builds on recent years of incremental improvements in results at A Level. This year shows a considerable leap; a landmark moment as this will be the final year of an all-boys’ sixth form cohort.
The success extends across the board, with a well-deserved 85.14% of all grades achieved being A*, A, or B. This broad success reflects the commitment of our 202 students across a diverse range of subjects.
This year's results highlight the dedication and hard work of our students and staff, with nearly 60% of all grades awarded being A or A*. Boarders did even better, with nearly 70% being awarded at A*/A. Furthermore, 23.37% of all grades achieved were awarded at A*.
The Headmaster, Philip Wayne, commented: "We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements in their A-Levels this year. These results are a testament to their resilience and hard work, fortified by the unwavering dedication of our staff and the support from parents. We wish all our students every success as they embark on their next exciting chapters, whether at university or in apprenticeships. I thank all students for their contribution to RGS over the years. We now enter an exciting chapter as we admit girls to our Sixth Form from this September. All augurs well.
