Design Technology

Design and Technology is a great subject, and one that I would highly recommend as an option. As a subject it brings together many skills such as art, science and maths. So it appeals to not only the creative but also those who are more inclined towards mechanics. I have always enjoyed my DT lessons mainly because of the excellent teachers who are very supportive and also because I get to design and create amazing things.  As someone who wants to enter the field of medicine, I can say for a fact that DT will be a very useful subject as it has many applications, from designing artificial limbs to creating state of the art medical equipment. In fact this subject will equip you with a variety of skills which can help you, no matter which career path you choose.
