A Level Subjects (Year 13 Students)

Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics

GCSE Subjects (for Year 11 Students)

Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, French, Geography, German, History, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Spanish

The courses will take place at RGS on Tuesday 2nd April  to Friday 5th April and Tuesday 9th April to Friday 12 April 2024, and the study time will be 22 hours during each four days.  The classes will be very intensive and examination-orientated, combining lectures, workshop sessions and examination practice.  The fee for four days is £620, and for all eight days £1240.

The maximum group size will be nine, although groups may well be considerably smaller.  There will be more than one group for subjects in high demand.  For A Level subjects, students select one subject for the whole four-day period, so students can study two subjects over the two weeks.  In the case of GCSE subjects, students choose one subject per day.  Typically, students register for a four-day course or for both weeks, up to a maximum total of 8 subjects.  It is possible to register for fewer than four days in a week, but for timetabling reasons, it might not be possible to specify particular days out of the four.  Sciences are studied as individual subjects, so all three sciences will require three days. Each day’s classes begin at 9am and end at 4.30pm.

Bat Oar Ball - Saturday 20 April 2024

Each year the Bat Oar Ball raises funds to support all sixteen sports at the school.  RGS has a proud history and tradition of sporting provision and sport plays an important part in the curricular, extra-curricular and social life of the school.  Without your support, RGS would be unable to offer such a wide range of sporting activities, enabling boys of all abilities to participate, or field the huge numbers of teams in the all-year round calendar of fixtures from inter-house matches to national competitions.

We look forward to seeing you on the night!
