The debate over whether schools should implement a strict mobile phone ban or defer the decision to parents is a highly contested one. At the Royal Grammar School we are keen to explore all sides of the argument before implementing any change of policy. The opinions on young people’s phone use can be polarising, and it is important to approach the topic with balance and perspective both inside and outside of school.
As part of this, we are inviting parents and carers to a webinar run by Action Your Potential's Andrew Wright on Tuesday 9 December at 20.00. The webinar will be an evidence-based look at mobile phones, mental health and the real digital risks and benefits of smart phone use.
