I am planning to explore the light and dark of interior spaces, how deep shadows can create visually abstract imagery. I’m researching the work of Lucien Hervé and how his dramatic photographs enhance the shape and form of the buildings he photographs. I will also look at the work of John Ross and how he uses colour within his work. The concepts and ideas demonstrated by these artists will inform my work as I move forwards through this visual investigation.
