When I was presented with the title, ‘Working’ I became curious about how it could be expressed through art and through different media. I have chosen to look at Working Hard and effort to see how as an artist I can reflect this through my pieces. Using this idea as a basis my first thought was to look at athletes and sport at high levels because in my opinion they work the hardest and give the greatest effort in their respective field. Looking for inspiration I discovered that the best way to show the athlete’s effort was to use the motion which conveys speed and power, all of which are key qualities in any athlete.
