Fundraising and the Annual Fund
We are clear about what we would like to achieve, an exceptional education giving young men the best possible start in life. Combining academic rigour with a wide range of co-curricular activities, we support every student to find their strengths and to follow their passions.
Our vision is to offer those naturally able, irrespective of their background, the best all-round education offered by any state school in the UK. In brief, with your help we can:
- Widen access to the school through our bursary programme.
- Provide life changing opportunities for our pupils through our co-curricular activities.
- Bring long-term additional income to the School through charitable giving, so that the next generation of pupils can benefit from extra resources, facilities and bursaries which could not otherwise be afforded.
Today our support comes from parents, former parents, staff and governors, OWs, charitable trusts and foundations which makes a genuine difference to the life of our school. We value each and every gift.
Hopefully, you will feel sufficiently inspired to contribute to the Annual Fund which supports all areas of the School, so that every boy will benefit during their time at RGS. Just £25 per month, per pupil would raise £72,000 with Gift Aid for the year group. This level of funding would ensure all departments and activities could continue into the future.
I hope that you will join myself and fellow parents in making a gift. No matter how large or small, it will have a significant impact.
Thank you to all those involved.
