(Subject Ambassador) on why he loves Psychology:

I love psychology for a number of reasons, but firstly because it is by far my most interesting subject as the content we learn about in class is genuinely fascinating. This is due to us covering such diverse topics with memory, social influence and psychopathology just to name a few, although it’s not only discussing these topics that interests me as we also find out about questions I’ve always had about human behaviour and life in general. To add this leads into one of psychology’s main strong points as it is extremely relevant to everyday life with things like social influence and memory evident constantly through out life. Lastly the most important reason for me why psychology is a great choice of subject is the beneficial impact it can have on peoples lives with the field of psychology helping many mental health sufferers and victims of traumatic experiences to overcome their issues.
