Each year The Bat 'Oar' Ball raises funds to support sports at the school, including cricket, hockey, rowing, rugby, as well as fencing, tennis, basketball and badminton to name a few. 

RGS has a proud history and tradition of sporting provision seeing in excess of 400 fixtures undertaken across 14 different sports. Within these fixtures, over 800 different students represented RGS, which is a remarkable achievement. Our ability to consistently compete against some of the very best Independent Schools in the country is testament to the hard work and dedication of staff, parents and students.

The auction is now open to bid online until 10.30pm on Saturday 11 March. If you are unable to attend the Ball you can still give yourself the best chance of winning by placing a proxy (maximum) bid. You will be contacted after the event if your bid has been successful.  

We have received prizes from local businesses, parents and supporters of the school and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind and generous donations.
