The reason that I love sport at the RGS is because there is such a wide variety of options to do such as tennis, hockey, rugby, rowing, badminton, fives and so on. Another thing that’s great about the sport here is the teachers. They will push you to your limit and help you improve. For example, when I first joined the school, I had never played a day of rugby or hockey in my life and I am now making constant appearances in the first and second teams.
The staff are so supportive no matter what your skill level and will help you get better along the way. They have adapted to COVID very well with a YouTube channel with exercises to help you keep fit at home. Overall, the sport at RGS is amazing and I know that you will find something that you enjoy whether it be rugby, cross country, fives or rowing there is something for everyone at the RGS.
