New Boarders Handbook 2021

STUDY GROUPS To help with your academic progress you will be placed in an appropriate study group. GROUP A: is for sixth form boys who have shown the ability to work independently and are making excellent progress. If you are in this group your work will be monitored by your Tutor and you will be allowed in the boarding house during private study periods. It is expected that boys in this group can organise their own study time. GROUP B:  is for boys who are progressing well but who benefit from a set study time after supper each evening (7.30 to 9.00pm). If you are in this group you are supervised by the Boarding Tutor on duty and a prefect. GROUP C:  is for boys who need the help of a supervised study session after supper each evening (7.30 to 9.00pm). If you are in this group your work will be checked each evening by the duty Housemaster. GROUP C+:  is for boys who are not quite ready for B group. Fully supervised by a prefect and checked by the duty Tutor. 2) Academic 08/09
