PRINCIPLES • Each member of the boarding community is treated with respect and as an individual. • Each boarder has access to a wide range of opportunities that enables them to develop spiritually, culturally, morally, socially and intellectually. • The boarding community ensures that there is a positive environment in which students are encouraged to participate in a varied programme of enrichment. • All members of Fraser Youens House feel comfortable approaching others for support and guidance. • Each member of the boarding community is able to raise concerns free of embarrassment or intimidation. AIMS • To create an environment in which boys can engage with each other in an enjoyable and active setting. • To ensure that every boarder feels comfortable and relaxed in a place they feel they belong. • To facilitate the development of boys as individuals in all aspects to prepare them for later life. • To ensure that boys care for others and build respect for each other. • To create a safe and nurturing environment and that boys can feel healthy, happy and safe.
