Meet The Team

Senior Prefects Sammy Sinclair I joined the Fraser Youens Boarding House in year 12, having moved from Dr Challoner’s after my GCSE’s seeking a change of scenery. I have loved my time at boarding so far and believe it has taught me some unbelievably valuable lessons that I would never have experienced outside of boarding. There is never a dull moment at FYH; you will never struggle to find someone to play table tennis with, go outside to kick a ball about or simply just have a chat with them. I study Maths, Economics and Sport BTEC with the aim of studying Business management/ Business economics at university. Outside of the academic side of school I am a very keen rugby player, having represented the school 1st XV and Wasps U18’s throughout this season. I hope that I can share my experiences and be able to positively influence the boarders here, so they enjoy their time here as much as I have. Will Conroy I have been a member of the Fraser Yoeuns house since year 9 and have enjoyed every single moment of my time here, whether it is taking part in activities or socialising with the boarders. Being in boarding has helped me to build strong relationships with my peers, which I hope can last for a long time. I am currently studying History, Business Studies and Sport Btec, with the hope to go to study History with International Relations at University. Outside the Boarding House, I play senior rugby and cricket and am a very keen football fan. I have enjoyed my time in Fraser Youens and hope to make your experience even better. Alex Morrison I have been a boarder at Fraser Youens House since Year 7, and it has helped to shape who I am today. The fantastic opportunities that being a boarder has offered me, the friendships I have built, and the strong relationships with my teachers that I have fostered, would not have been possible without Fraser Youens, and have benefitted me massively over my time here. I am studying Maths, Geography, and History with the hope of studying PPE at university. Boarding has given me the time to explore and pursue my passions, allowing me to become a part of the school’s senior cricket squad, an avid chorister, and a senior member of the SLST, amongst many more clubs and societies I attend. I hope to be able to use my leadership role to allow others to fulfil their potential in the same way I have done.
