RGS U14s win South England Regional Rugby League
RGS WINNERS
Venue – St Albans Rugby Club
Date – Monday Feb 4th
Score – 60 – 20
This is the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe’s first year playing Rugby League and it seems that they have taken to the 13 a side game. In their first four games they have scored 226 points in attack and have only conceded 28 points.
The London and Southern Regional Final was played against Southborough High School and it did not disappoint with regards to attacking free flowing rugby. The RGS boys scored a few early tries but Southborough’s determination in attack paid off and they scored the first of their four tries wide out on the right.

RGS went on to score 11 tries and 8 conversions and really dominated the rest of the game. Tom Wallace and A'maree Rey scored 4 tries each and were the pick of the RGS players with A’maree Rey being awarded the man of the match award.
The RGS team are now looking forward to the next round where they will face a team from Yorkshire at home.
