The CLT members meet up every other Wednesday in the conference room for training in Christian leadership. The meetings provide an insight into the Bible and give an opportunity for discussions about the individual year group meetings that we help lead. More importantly, they are wonderfully catered for by Caterlink, with an array of refreshments that are well associated with the Chaplaincy events. Most of the twenty strong team of students from years 11-13 attend the sessions, which are run jointly by Mr. Toller, Mr. Potter and Mr. Booth. The meetings enable us to find out about events coming up with the different year groups and provide an opportunity to pray for the development of the groups. Mr. Potter devises the usual classic games before the discussions commence. The topics covered are generally made appropriate to the time of year. An example of this was a series of reflections on the cross and resurrection over the Easter period. There is always time to ask searching questions and raise relevant points. The CLT gatherings provide an epic break time for all who attend and everything we learn clearly rubs off in other meetings!
