The RGS Production - Spring Term 2008.

Probably the goriest ghost story ever written .....Many versions of 'The Scottish Play' shy away from the sheer nastiness, greed and barefaced cruelty of the most infamous couple in fiction. Not us.

In the RGS's production (13th - 15th March 2008) the Macbeths are a media savvy 'Hello A list' couple whose lust for power and celebrity turns them into cold blooded serial killers.

Staged in the round, our production should draw even the most hardened traditionalist into our uber modern world of back stabbing high finance. The setting may be 21st century; the language is Shakespeare's alone.
