Tom's Tree

Tom Burton died at school in May 2007. Today his parents and brothers were in school to plant a chestnut tree on the field to commemorate his time at RGS.

A Tree for TomA Tree for Tom

His form mates were on hand to witness the simple ceremony and we spent some time remembering Tom and his droll sense of humour.

The tree and its plaque will ensure that Tom's short time at RGS will be remembered. It is a fitting tribute to a such a bright, intelligent and vivacious young man.
