The Classics Department

The Department provides access to the languages, culture and history of the ancient Greeks and Romans at all levels of the School.

In Year 7

All pupils take an introductory course, comprising Latin and Classical Civilisation.

In Years 8 & 9

Latin and Classical Civilisation are available as options.

In Years 10 & 11

Latin, Classical Greek and Classical Civilisation are available as options.

In Years 12 & 13

Latin, Greek and Ancient History are available as options.
