The Royal Grammar School is proud of its extensive links with the community, both local and international.  We see this involvement as an integral part of the school’s ethos as well as being important to each boy individually.  We try to ensure that all members of the school understand the importance of community and equally, that they all have an opportunity to contribute in one way or another, whatever their skills or abilities.

This contribution to the community is achieved in various ways:-

• Achieving Improved transition from Y6-Y7 through French ICT lessons
• Sharing of best practice with partner schools
• Offering Regional training courses in ICT/MFL
• Providing Evening classes for holiday languages
• Organising Challenge week for top achievers from our Primary Partner Schools
