The accommodation in Fraser Youens House

shared study bedroomFraser Youens House has been purpose build and was opened in 1999. It provides modern and comfortable accommodation for up to 70 boys.

The accommodation comprises a number of shared open plan rooms for our junior boarders as well as twin and single study bedrooms with en-suite facilities for the senior boys.

All our sixth form boarders are guaranteed a single study bedroom.

The shared study bedrooms are designed so, that each boy has his own small private area with an integrated desk/ wardrobe unit and a bed with drawers underneath for additional storage. In line with modern technology, all boys have access from their desk to a fast speed internet system via the school network.

For socialising, there are separate common rooms for juniors, seniors and sixth formers, all with TV and various other games facilities. All common rooms have a small kitchen area, where the boys are able to prepare small snacks between meals. single study room

After school, the boys are able to enjoy the large grounds and wide range of recreational facilities the Royal Grammar School has to offer for practising their rugby, cricket, tennis, hockey, swimming, music to name a few.
