Forensic Science Day at Wycombe Abbey School
A selection of boys from year 10 were invited to an exciting event at Wycombe Abbey A latent handprint.School this September - the "Forensic Science Day". During the day they gained experience of Crime Scene Investigation with a professional CSI team. Our boys became experts at fingerprinting, hair and fibre analysis, latent handprint and footprint examination and the ever-gruesome blood spatter analysis. At the end of the day the "RGS CSI Team" played forensic detectives and were set free in their very own crime scene. Here, they were allowed to gather evidence which would help them to solve a murder mystery.

A fingerprint!
The "RGS CSI Team" gave outstanding performances during their presentations and were one of the few teams who were expert enought to spot the "red herring" and correctly identify the culprit from a list of suspects. Lots of fun was had and we hope to return for a similar day next year.
Well done boys!
