Jazz Evening
Wednesday 8th October, 2008, 7.30pm, Queen’s Hall
An Evening of RGS Jazz - music provided by pupils in various jazz ensembles led by Mr Jay Craig and Mr Richard Bolton both of whom have other lives as professional jazz musicians. Mr Bolton is also setting up workshops for our musicians during the afternoon, the result of which will be seen in the evening concert. The briefest of AGMs imaginable will take place during the interval for the RGS Friends of Music to which of course anyone is welcome.
Celebrity Recital - Lawrence Power
Thursday 20th November, 2008, 7.30pm, Queen's Hall
International viola player, Lawrence Power's meteoric career after leaving RGS in 1995 has led him into the highest circles of music-making. He has recently been seen in London performing with Maxim Vengerov, and taking a sole role in the Prom concert of 17th August.

The RGS Carol Service
