Ian Fraser's exploits as a miniature submarine commander in the Second World War are well known to all RGS pupils and the account of his crew's actions that led to the awarding of two VCs are related on the school's website.
We were delighted when he agreed to lend his name to our new Fraser Youens boarding house and he was proud to be associated with our earlier VC winner, Frederick Youens.
