One hundred and eighty-eight pupils from Year 12 travelled north to attend the Open Days at either Birmingham or Nottingham University.

After nearly four hours visiting the departments that interested them and laden with brochures and information packs they headed home.

The sunny weather showed the attractive red-brick campuses at their best.  Both of these institutions have proved popular destinations for RGS pupils and today's visit will certainly have left positive impressions with our applicants.
