Law SeminarOn Thursday 12th July the RGS played host to over  80 students from a range of local schools, along with 18 of our year 12 students, to experience a whole day conference on "The Business of Law", organised by the IOD.

They were very lucky to have speakers of the calibre of Lord Justice Scott Baker and Karl Wingfield, (Chief Executice, BP Collins) to "kick-off" the day with insights into the business and challenges of law.

There followed the opportunity to engage with Lawyers, Solicitors and Barristers in seminar groups.

All students enjoyed the day and found the insights given very useful for their university and career plans. Some even took the opportunity to network and make potentially useful contacts!

Many thanks to Bob Mason and Debbie Beryer at the IOD for putting the conference together; to the visiting schools and to Mrs E Charleston for organising the arrangements here at the RGS, (Bucks premium conference facility!)
