On Wednesday 23rd April the European Theatre Company brought their French production of Cendrine Bio to the RGS, entertaining (and educating) our Year 7 boys in the morning, and then Year 6 pupils from a number of our partner primary schools in the afternoon.

The play was presented predominantly in French, with just a little bit of English for the trickier bits, and was based on the Cinderella story. There were lots of visual aids to help as well. Environment and waste management were also key themes which were woven into the story in a lively and accessible way. The pupils were particularly impressed with the dancing and enjoyed joining in with the singing too.

Feedback from the pupils has been very positive. They will all receive a booklet and will do some follow up work on the play in their French lessons.
