We are very pleased to learn that one of our year 7 pupils has recently won a prize in a competition organised by the Environment Centre in High Wycombe.
Following a recent assembly from Mrs Frances Alexander of the Environment Centre, boys were encouraged to submit entries for a competition. Entries should encourage more responsible attitudes towards the environment, or suggest new ideas for tackling environmental issues.
Congratulations to Dominic, whose entry encouraging more sensible use of energy was appreciated by the judges. Dominic picked up a certificate and prize on Saturday afternmoon from Professor Hugh Montgomery of the University College Hospital London. Professor Montgomery has a particular interest in Climate and Environmental issues.
