A Geography lesson with Mr Bennett is never dull. On Monday 23 April, 9CG started the day with a bit of a bang in their Geography class. As the rain subsided, Mr Bennett took the class outside to witness the absolute pinnacle of geographical model-making, provided by Ross Wilson.
Using a battery to start a chain reaction, the model volcano (carefully placed at a distance from the spectators) was quite literally, fired up.
The result was the most inventive, yet realistic example of a model volcano that the RGS Geography Department have seen in a very long time indeed, complete with lava bombs that were, perhaps, slightly unexpected.
You can view the result here.
