WORLD BOOK DAY 2012

This year’s World Book Day was a great success.  The Bring and Buy Book sale proved to be very popular, with just over £100 being raised for Book Aid International.  Thanks to everyone who contributed to this.

Staff also joined in with the spirit of the day by reading extracts from books, poems and plays at the beginning of lessons.  These were very well received by the boys.

Guess Who’s Reading What

Our Guess Who’s Reading What competition was also very popular, with staff and pupils identifying members of staff from photos that were taken of staff hiding behind their favourite books. There was a real buzz in school throughout the day as pupils joined in the activities.
