A Level results - Overview

We are delighted with an outstanding set of A level results that have exceeded our previous best year with 81% A*, A and B grades.  All 178 candidates have qualified for Higher Education places and throughout the full range of the achievement spectrum, personal targets have been met and improved on.

 

The average success rate per candidate was over three grade As.

• Average UCAS Tariff/Candidate 422.53
• Percentage of A*, A, B grades 81.0%
• Pass rate 99.7%

One student achieved 6 A* grades at A level:
  • Harry Alexander Economics A*, History A*, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Further Maths Additional A*, Physics A* 

One student achieved 6 A*/A grades at A level:
  • Edmund Eustace Economics A*, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Further Maths Additional A*, Physics A* Chemistry A

Five students achieved 5 A* / A grades at A level:
  • Thomas Archer Economics A, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Further Maths Additional A*, Physics A* 
  • Naeem Iqbal Biology A*, Chemistry A*, English Lit A*, Maths A*, Further Maths A 
  • Tim Jackson Chemistry A, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Further Maths Additional A*, Physics A*
  • Benson Lai Chemistry A, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Further Maths Additional A*, Physics A*
  • Jordan Lam Biology A*, Chemistry A*, Geography A*, Maths A*, Further Maths A
  • Robert Wilson English Lit A*, Greek A*, History A*, Latin A*, Maths A

Three student achieved four A* grades at A level:
  • Ben Gill Chemistry A*, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Physics A*
  • Ewan Lusty Economics A*, English Lit A*, French A*, History A*
  • Jaimin Shah Economics A*, Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Physics A*

The following students achieved at least three A* grades at A level:
  • Oliver Browne, Peter Chadwick, James Dow, William Eustace, Joshua Foo, Elliot Grogan, 
  • Susruta Manivannan, Nick Salmon, Jonathan Venvell, Alex Warrilow-Wilson

 

GCSE Results - Overview

 

 

  • 100% of the 195 candidates gained five grades at A*-C 
  • 100% of the 195 candidates gained five or more grades at A*-C, including English and Mathematics. 
  • 73.15% of all grades were A* or A.  
  • The average number of subjects with A*-C per candidate was 11.  
  • Average points per candidate 548.
  • 95.5% achieved the English Baccalaureate.

The following outstanding individual achievements should be mentioned:

 

One student achieved an outstanding 12 A* grades:

 

  • Liiyang Pan – along with grade A in Information Technology, Geography and Additional Maths

 Eight students achieved an outstanding 11 A* grades:

 

  • Chaitya Desai - along with grade A in Additional Maths
  • Thomas Hetherington 
  • Keya Jafari - along with grade A in Additional Maths
  • Matthew Lettis – along with grade A in English Literature and Additional Maths
  • Leo Munby - along with grade A in History and Additional Maths
  • Jonty Purvis – along with grade A in Music 
  • Joseph Williams - along with grade B in Additional Maths
  • Oliver Wilson - along with grade C in Additional Maths

 Four students achieved 10 grade A*s:

 

  • Dominic Browne - along with grade A in Geography and Additional Maths
  • Giles Chick – along with grade A in Additional Maths
  • Adam Raymond-White  – along with grade A in English Literature and Additional Maths
  • Danny Vick – along with grade A in English Literature and Additional Maths

 Fifteen students achieved 9 grade A*s
