Royal Institution Maths Masterclasses

Run at Wycombe High School and featuring an excellent quality of workshops and speakers including David Acheson.

Maths In Action Lectures

Held at Imperial College, London, starring a diverse range of lecturers from Simon Singh to Marcus DeSautoy to Hugh Hunt.

Sixth Form Maths Conference

Taking place annually in November at Aylesbury Grammar School. Recent lecture topics have included risk, chance and gambling; chaos theory and predicting the weather; the maths of lasers; tornadoes and butterflies and juggling.

Villiers Park Masterclasses

Held annually around Easter at Villiers Park, near Cambridge. The RGS sends along some of its brightest sixth-form mathematicians who may be considering mathematics-related degrees.
