The Royal Grammar School is proud of its extensive links with the community, both local and international. This involvement is an integral part of the school’s ethos as well as being important to each boy individually. All members of the school are encouraged to understand the importance of community and all have an opportunity to contribute to the community in one way or another, whatever their skills or abilities.

This contribution to the community is achieved in various ways:-

  • Charity collections (the Benevolent Fund, special causes, mufti days, sponsored walks)
  • Sharing expertise (work in partner schools, business links, mentoring)
  • Sharing facilities (conferences, meetings, lessons, minibuses)

 Our outreach activities include:

  • Sharing best practice with partner schools
  • Offering Regional training courses in ICT
  • Organising Challenge Week for G&T pupils from local Primary Schools
  • Nationally and internationally recognised website:
