The school operates a Biometric Cashless System through ParentPay which is used in the dining room and the school shop. Your son will be registered on the first day of school. You can credit their account in advance for school meals with a cheque made payable to Alliance in Partnership, please write your son’s name and form clearly on the reverse. Alternatively, you can put credit onto your son’s account via ParentPay online.
During the first week of your son starting at Royal Grammar School, you will receive a letter containing a unique username and password to activate your ParentPay account. This will enable you to make future payments for school meals by credit or debit card. The balance will be shown each time the account is used and this will allow for time to re-credit. Parents can get a printout of what purchases your son is making via ParentPay if desired.
If your son is eligible for free school meals, he will still need to register his fingerprint to open the account. Free meal allowances will automatically be added to their account on a daily basis. This amount will not accumulate if not spent in its entirety.
